Daily Insight for Greatness - Who Will Cry When You Die?

Daily Insight for Greatness - Who Will Cry When You Die?

"When you were born, you cried while the whole world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries while you rejoice." - Ancient Sanskrit Saying

The above quotation changed my life; my world, my perception and my thinking about life.

It brought about the transformation of my life and have placed me on a higher ground.

If there is anything you can do to change your world, I suggest that you should read good books.

I first read about the above quotation in Robin Sharma's book, WHO WILL CRY WHEN YOU DIE.

We must understand that we have a compelling duty to live our lives for the good of other people.

At birth, we cried while people around were rejoicing and celebrating our arrival.

Beloved, have you ever asked why do babies cry at birth? That is a discussion for another day.

When someone dies, two sets of people cry. They are the immediate family members and those that benefitted from the person's kindness.

Kindness towards people should be the rent we pay for the mercies of God that we enjoy here on earth.

In the scriptures, people cried when Dorcas died.

Likewise so many great men and women that lived on this earth. People cried when they died because of the legacies they left behind and the impact their lives had on people of their generation.

When you die, who will cry?

Is it only your immediate family?

When you live for yourself or selfishly, your family alone will cry for you when you die but when you live selfless life and for the good of other people, the world will cry when you die.

Don’t think that it is only money you can use to affect your generation. It is not necessarily so. You can use you gifts/talents, strength, power and time to affect your generation.

Therefore, begin to live well. Wipe away tears in people's eyes through your acts of charity and kindness.

Show mercy to people!

Empathize with the hurt, care for the needy, protect the widows, fight for the rights of the oppressed and ensure that you have a way of assisting the less privileged people around you.

By doing so, you would have succeeded in not only immortalizing your name in the hearts of people but also securing for yourself peaceful exit from this earth which will make people (those who benefited from your good deeds and those who heard your story) cry when you die.

Think about this and begin in earnest to affect lives around you.

Have a glorious weekend!

Lots of Love from

Daily Insight for Greatness – Shift From Ordinary To Extraordinary

Daily Insight for Greatness – Shift From Ordinary To Extraordinary

Make your life matter in this generation. Be of use to yourself and humanity.

Serve as many people as you can possibly serve.

This is how each of us can shift from the ordinary into the extraordinary and walk among the best who ever lived.

The above is what can make you extraordinary in this your generation.

Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther king, Florence Nightingale, Samuel Ajayi Crowther and so many other people that have lived and are still living did it.

Our world lack Leaders who have diaconate spirit.

Most people in leadership positions today are so selfish and self-centred that all that matters to them is what they can acquire for themselves and their posterity.

They are not after the welfare of people they serve.

For this reason, some of them want to remain in power for life.

Service to humanity is what distinguishes us as extraordinary.

It makes us so humane and gives us a sense that what we are and what we have are gifts.

Beloved friend, I want you to understand that your talents and gifts are inconsequential if they are not used for the good of humanity.

Again, God expects you to account for it because it was given to you for a purpose.

God doesn’t make mistakes.

He has placed you where you are today because there is someone there that should benefit from your gifts and talents.

Look around and see the people in your neighbourhood; your office, the place you do your business and people that come to you.

There is someone God wants you to serve with your gifts and talents.

There are people around you in dire need of your gifts and talents.

Serve them!

Make your life count where people are.

Serve them with your gifts; your money, your car, your talents and your wisdom.

People want to come to you. Don’t scare them away.

Rather, serve them and you would have succeeded in making your life count in your generation.

Daily Insight for Greatness: Develop And Use Your Potentials

Daily Insight for Greatness: Develop And Use Your Potentials

Dear friends, I want you to understand that whatever you need to excel and become great has been deposited in you as potential by God waiting to be developed.

Unfortunately, many people due to ignorance fail to develop these talents. By not developing them, they have succeeded in starving their generation the benefits they would have derived from such potentials and talents.

Please don't do yourself and your generation a disservice by refusing to develop your God-given potentials.

God gave them to you for a purpose so that your generation will benefit from them.

Hiding your potential or not making good use of it is not only a disservice to yourself but also to God who gave them to you and your generation who ought to benefit from them.

As we begin this new month, I will encourage you to search yourself and see the areas your talent will be of great use to humanity.

Use that gift/talent for the good of the people without waiting for reward.

God gave it to you and He is the one that will reward you.

Think about this as you begin this new month. Certainly you will find more fulfilling and rewarding using that gift for the good of humanity.

Have a pleasant and rewarding month.

Daily Insight for Greatness – Persist In Your Darkest Hour

Daily Insight for Greatness – Persist In Your Darkest Hour

“It was the stone that bruised my feet that made me strong. It was those hard battles and testing times when I felt I was almost overflowed, that fashioned the qualities of courage and trust deep within me. There will never be a dungeon in your life where the Master is not able and willing to give you grace and victory in your darkest hour” – Kathryn Kulhman.

Often, we experience dark hours in our life’s journey.

Dark hours are periods where there seem to be no more courage to carry on.

Dark hour is that period when friends and family members have deserted you in your trials and tribulations.

Dark hour is that period you have been denied, betrayed, abandoned, neglected, mistreated, and rejected and now you are at the point of giving up.

This has happened to so many great men and women we admire today.

Read their biographies and you will agree with the words of Kathryn Kulhman that “It was the stone that bruised my feet that made me strong. It was those hard battles and testing times when I felt I was almost overflowed, that fashioned the qualities of courage and trust deep within me.”

You might have been bruised, abused, neglected, rejected, mistreated, betrayed and abandoned by family members and friends.

Now you may be weighing some options available to you which may include suicide, resignation, breaking your relationship, divorce, etc.

Wait a minute! I have another option for you, which I know have worked for so many people.

The option is to use the stones thrown at you (the abuse, the setbacks, betrayal etc) as a stepping stone to make a name for yourself.

In 2003, a female doctor in Lagos told my wife to take me home for burial that I will not survive the kidney failure.

My wife cried initially and thereafter took the decision to do everything possible to save my life.

The decision made her to make so many sacrifices and finally donate one of her kidneys to save my life.

Today, she is celebrated whenever they mention her name and I am alive.

Her darkest hours which seem too long then are over. If she had accepted what that female doctor said, who will hear of her?

Therefore, I charge you to push those disappointments, abuses, rejections, etc. behind you and decide to move on.

Your end has not come.

There is joy and celebration ahead of you.

Resolve to begin to do things that will make those who abused, abandoned and neglected you to come back and congratulate you.

Daily Insight for Greatness: When going gets Tough, Work Harder

Daily Insight for Greatness: When going gets Tough, Work Harder
When the going gets tough and complicated as it always does, it is aimed at testing your passion and commitment. All you have to do is work harder and there will be breakthrough for you.
Most times the hindrances, bumps and potholes on our way to success are meant to test our resolve; our passion, our determination and our commitment.
When it comes to that, all you need to do is work harder with more commitment, determination and resolve to overcome. That is the best way to challenge and overcome Tough Times.
Have in mind that there must be tough times as you try to make progress in your career and attain success. They are inevitable on our part to success. If you have this in mind, you can easily challenge it when it rears up it's head.
I challenge you today to begin to face tough times because it will never last forever but those who work harder will last longer.

Daily Insight for Greatness: Rend Your Heart And Not Your Garment
We thank God for the year 2019 which ends today.
It was a year filled with challenges, opportunities and all the fun, thrills and spills it provided.
Some opportunities were utilised, some missed and some unnoticed.
But in all, there are reasons to thank God on this last day of the year. If not for anything but for the privilege of being alive.
As New Year approaches, may people usually rend their garments instead of their hearts. What do I mean by this?
Most people usually think that success will come in the New Year without corresponding change in attitude and character.
I want you to know that change of attitude in commitment to your dreams; change of attitude in moderation of your passions, change of attitude in saving and change of attitude in investment is the key to success.
Success will not come in mere changing business and dreams without corresponding attitude that yields success.
Therefore as we welcome 2020, I want you to take a retrospect of how you did things this year 2019.
Did you actually follow the rules of success?
Did you show enough commitment that ought to yield good dividend for you?
Did you develop the attitude of investing and becoming a solution to people's needs through providing goods and services?
If all these and many more rules of success were not applied, don't think that mere changing business plan and environment is the key you need for success.
You have to rend your heart, change attitude, put in more commitment, make investment, sell a product or services and control your passions.
Armed with the above, you are sure to end 2020 on a bright, positive and glorious note.
I wish you a happy New Year!
Your fan always,
Tabugbo

Daily Insight: Those With Ideas Excel

Daily Insight: Those With Ideas Excel

I went to Onitsha yesterday to buy materials I need to produce Handmade cards.

I came down at Uga Junction and climbed the pedestrian bridge.

On that pedestrian bridge were different people; sick, invalid, crippled, etc begging for alms.

But a crippled man among them took broom and started sweeping the bridge.

His action attracted people passing through and they were giving him money, neglecting others.

I know that the man will leave there loaded while his fellow beggars will go empty handed.

That is the power of idea!

Idea transforms your world.

An idea can turn you from a borrow to a lender. It can change your world overnight.

When Mark dropped out of University, he conceived the idea of Facebook, he told friends and one declined.

What is the status of Mark today? The 4th richest man in the world.

Today, Facebook is rallying point of friends, families, companies, communities, churches and lots more.

Beloved, what idea is God giving your about business, job, entertainment, etc?

Don't take it for granted.

Pray about it and God who gave you the idea will give you the means and ways to actualize it.

Remember that a journey of 1000 miles starts with a step

Good day friends
