Daily Insight for Greatness - Who Will Cry When You Die?

Daily Insight for Greatness - Who Will Cry When You Die?

"When you were born, you cried while the whole world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries while you rejoice." - Ancient Sanskrit Saying

The above quotation changed my life; my world, my perception and my thinking about life.

It brought about the transformation of my life and have placed me on a higher ground.

If there is anything you can do to change your world, I suggest that you should read good books.

I first read about the above quotation in Robin Sharma's book, WHO WILL CRY WHEN YOU DIE.

We must understand that we have a compelling duty to live our lives for the good of other people.

At birth, we cried while people around were rejoicing and celebrating our arrival.

Beloved, have you ever asked why do babies cry at birth? That is a discussion for another day.

When someone dies, two sets of people cry. They are the immediate family members and those that benefitted from the person's kindness.

Kindness towards people should be the rent we pay for the mercies of God that we enjoy here on earth.

In the scriptures, people cried when Dorcas died.

Likewise so many great men and women that lived on this earth. People cried when they died because of the legacies they left behind and the impact their lives had on people of their generation.

When you die, who will cry?

Is it only your immediate family?

When you live for yourself or selfishly, your family alone will cry for you when you die but when you live selfless life and for the good of other people, the world will cry when you die.

Don’t think that it is only money you can use to affect your generation. It is not necessarily so. You can use you gifts/talents, strength, power and time to affect your generation.

Therefore, begin to live well. Wipe away tears in people's eyes through your acts of charity and kindness.

Show mercy to people!

Empathize with the hurt, care for the needy, protect the widows, fight for the rights of the oppressed and ensure that you have a way of assisting the less privileged people around you.

By doing so, you would have succeeded in not only immortalizing your name in the hearts of people but also securing for yourself peaceful exit from this earth which will make people (those who benefited from your good deeds and those who heard your story) cry when you die.

Think about this and begin in earnest to affect lives around you.

Have a glorious weekend!

Lots of Love from

Daily Insight for Greatness – Shift From Ordinary To Extraordinary

Daily Insight for Greatness – Shift From Ordinary To Extraordinary

Make your life matter in this generation. Be of use to yourself and humanity.

Serve as many people as you can possibly serve.

This is how each of us can shift from the ordinary into the extraordinary and walk among the best who ever lived.

The above is what can make you extraordinary in this your generation.

Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther king, Florence Nightingale, Samuel Ajayi Crowther and so many other people that have lived and are still living did it.

Our world lack Leaders who have diaconate spirit.

Most people in leadership positions today are so selfish and self-centred that all that matters to them is what they can acquire for themselves and their posterity.

They are not after the welfare of people they serve.

For this reason, some of them want to remain in power for life.

Service to humanity is what distinguishes us as extraordinary.

It makes us so humane and gives us a sense that what we are and what we have are gifts.

Beloved friend, I want you to understand that your talents and gifts are inconsequential if they are not used for the good of humanity.

Again, God expects you to account for it because it was given to you for a purpose.

God doesn’t make mistakes.

He has placed you where you are today because there is someone there that should benefit from your gifts and talents.

Look around and see the people in your neighbourhood; your office, the place you do your business and people that come to you.

There is someone God wants you to serve with your gifts and talents.

There are people around you in dire need of your gifts and talents.

Serve them!

Make your life count where people are.

Serve them with your gifts; your money, your car, your talents and your wisdom.

People want to come to you. Don’t scare them away.

Rather, serve them and you would have succeeded in making your life count in your generation.

Daily Insight for Greatness: Develop And Use Your Potentials

Daily Insight for Greatness: Develop And Use Your Potentials

Dear friends, I want you to understand that whatever you need to excel and become great has been deposited in you as potential by God waiting to be developed.

Unfortunately, many people due to ignorance fail to develop these talents. By not developing them, they have succeeded in starving their generation the benefits they would have derived from such potentials and talents.

Please don't do yourself and your generation a disservice by refusing to develop your God-given potentials.

God gave them to you for a purpose so that your generation will benefit from them.

Hiding your potential or not making good use of it is not only a disservice to yourself but also to God who gave them to you and your generation who ought to benefit from them.

As we begin this new month, I will encourage you to search yourself and see the areas your talent will be of great use to humanity.

Use that gift/talent for the good of the people without waiting for reward.

God gave it to you and He is the one that will reward you.

Think about this as you begin this new month. Certainly you will find more fulfilling and rewarding using that gift for the good of humanity.

Have a pleasant and rewarding month.
