FOOD FOR THOUGHT ON THE OUTCOME OF LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Nigerians wanted CHANGE and they voted for All Progressive Congress (APC) but are we really ready for CHANGE? It is not just enough to change Government. We should be ready to change; our attitude, our utterances, our manner of doing business, our duties as civil/public servants, to conform to the CHANGE we asked for.
You that voted for CHANGE, are you ready to stop hoarding of goods? Are you ready to stop hiding files until you are pacified? Are you ready to come to work by 9am and write 9am? Are you ready to maintain queue of first come, first served? If we are not ready to change these and many other vices rampant in Nigeria, then we have not changed anything. It is you and I that will change first for our government to be good.
We should think about this because if changing people in government is the only thing we desire in the CLAMOUR for CHANGE, then we are people to be most pitied. I wish our clamour for CHANGE which was demonstrated during last Presidential election, will translate to CHANGE on our lives, our relationships and our duties towards Nigeria.
