TO GOD BE THE GLORY
Today made it exactly 7 years I went under the knives of Doctors in Columbia Asia Referral Hospital Bangalore India for a replacement of one of the valves of my heart. It was a painful experience but God saw me through.
After the heart operation, two hoses were placed on my armpit each to drain fluid in my body because I wasn't urinating due to Kidney failure. I was made to lie on my back, face up without changing position for 21 days (3 weeks). Despite the back pain and all inconveniences, God saw me through.
I am very grateful to God for all he has done for me and for all the human efforts he used. I appreciate my Cardiologist, Dr Mukundan of Columbia Asia Referral Hospital for his love for us (my wife and I). I appreciate my wife for her consistent effort in raising money for the operation. I thank my junior sister, Uchechukwu Molokwu who was there with us.
Finally, I thank the Most Rev Nicholas Okoh, the Bishop of Asaba Diocese then, now Primate of Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, the clergy and laity of the Diocese for their support and prayers. Thank you all. The prayer shouldn't cease. God bless you
To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Refrain:
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
