A Leader who has subordinates doesn't need to do everything under his schedule to prove he is a leader. Trying to do everything to show that you are a leader will amount to failure because in trying to do all things, you will fail in many others. Such is a way of seeking personal glory. A true leader should be wise enough to harness the abilities, knowledge, skills and strength of his subordinate to achieve maximum results. This is what leadership is all about.
You are not known as a true leader by the name of your portfolio (President, Secretary, Minister, Commissioner, Pastor, Bishop, etc) but by the result you deliver. A leader is not perturbed by who did more work to ensure success rather his concern is that success is achieved. All he does is to ensure his subordinates are up and doing to ensure corporate success not personal glory. Seeking for personal glory kills leaders. Leadership should focus on corporate success.
