FRIDAY OPINION

FRIDAY OPINION
Many Nigerians are shouting that Buhari has done so much; he has restored sanity in governance, etc. They are now singing his praise. I am yet to join that wagon. One major problem we have in Nigeria is SYCOPHANCY AND PRAISE SINGERS. We sing praises of people in a bid to gain favour. We can see this clearly in the actions of our POLITICIANS who are defecting and civil servants who recently staged a protest in support of anti-corruption war of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

Who would have believed that Nigeria would deteriorate to this level after the WAR AGAINST INDISCIPLINE of Buhari and Idiagbon? It shows we didn't learn anything from their administration.

Buhari's 'achievements' can only mean something when we internalize his ideologies and principles, and live with them long after he leaves office. We should be the change we need in our society. We shouldn't wait for someone to tell us or make law that we should stop throwing refuse into gutters. LET US DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND STOP PRAISE SINGING AND SYCHOPHANCY.
